The Mother Of All

You were not a good mix. You didn’t match up well. But with her, she used this information: for and against you. She was the Queen Bee. The rest of you were her workers.

You were not in revolt, initially. You played along. You did not stage a mutiny by any means necessary like some folks believe. And now you get phased out for it.

Because, somehow, you did not fit in.

And you should have been bestowed the freedom not to fit in. You should have not had to participate, is what you think.

Why were you forced into a role of humiliation? It is downright bad behavior. You understand what you did to her and how it can be perceived as bad behavior. But nobody is perfect. You are not Jesus for crying out loud; you’re not turning the other cheek, when originally it was her infringement upon your freedom. She put her claws into you — not the other way around.

She misinterpreted your interest. Or didn’t care about your feelings. And people should try to comprehend this.

She provoked an evil response and you did well to abstain from enacting it.

You gave her the sweetness of a child. She abused and molested you. She ran a tight ship. She was the boss. She controlled you like a child.

You worked against her. You were not to be so easily manipulated. You were not to be controlled. You distracted her from her focus. And she latched on to you as punishment.

All the things she said to you, her batting eyelashes, her leading you on — you had to engage just to alleviate the pressure; to keep her at bay.

She wanted your seed and she was insatiable. You had to get her off your case. And people make you out to be the bastard.

Where is the justice amidst all the dysfunction and pain?

No matter, for she was the mother of all.
